Pit River Truths - Theme Why this theme? Some people within the Tribe, especially the ex-council, began calling those of us working for fairness and working for the whole Tribe rather than themselves, "Buffalos". They did not mean it as a complementary term. However, the Buffalo are respected and honored by all Indian people - at least Indian people who are in touch with their heritage - we kind of like it! |
